The complex is formed by contrasting volumes of different heights and functional purposes. The vertical dominant feature—a 21-story office building 95 meters high—dominates the spatial composition, facing south. The other two volumes, located symmetrically relative to the office tower, are a hotel building in the western park area and a 12-story apart-hotel to the east, along Wilhelm Pieck Street. The buildings are connected by a stylobate section, which houses the main entrance to the complex, opening onto the Chinese Garden landscape park. The entire composition is built along urban planning axes running from the city center: from the Ostankino Tower, through the central axis of VDNKh and from Prospekt Mira, then along Wilhelm Pieck Street, which ends at the Chinese Business Center site in the center of the high-rise dominant feature – the office tower.
